Rosedale Center’s management team, JLL, today announced it is continuing to move forward on plans for the $200 million expansion of the center which will redevelop the former Herberger’s department store building, develop exterior surface lots as well as the surrounding space on the center’s south side. The expansion project is designed to transform Rosedale into a mixed-use, urban-style regional center.
As part these plans, Rosedale Center also announced today it has signed leases with Raising Cane’s, Aspen Dental, Caribou Coffee, Visionworks and PNC Bank. These new tenants will occupy buildings that will be located on the parcels that surround the west side of Rosedale Center.
“Our team recognized the opportunity to develop three new pad buildings for these exciting new tenants on an under-utilized portion of the Macy’s parking lot,” said Rosedale Center General Manager Lisa Crain. “The ‘One JLL’ vision and efforts by our development, construction, leasing, and operations teams continues to add value to Rosedale Center.”
The opening of these new tenants represents the next step in Rosedale’s master-planned expansion project that will be built in phases. Crain added, “This also coincides with our ultimate vision for Rosedale Center to make sure we continue keep it a vibrant hub for shopping, dining, entertainment, living, and working.” The center will release additional information as the process moves forward. The expansion plans closely align with the City’s comprehensive plan.
